U.S. Kraft Paper Shipments Decrease in June

U.S. kraft paper shipments totaled 135,100 tons in June, a decrease of 3.5% compared with June 2010, but up 2.5% when compared with May 2011, according to the AF&PA's Kraft Paper Sector Report released this week. Total inventory was 62,600 tons.
Additional key findings from the report include:
- Total unbleached kraft shipments decreased compared with June 2010
- Total bleached kraft shipments were up compared with the same month last year for the fifth time in 2011.
