Södra Cell Elects Hildingsson to Board

Ola Hildingsson has been elected as a new member of the board of directors at Södra Cell, Sweden. Hildingsson holds a Master of Science in Forestry and has extensive experience in the forestry industry, including working as a manager for what was at that time the Billerud Uddeholm sawmill and as CEO for SCA Timber AB. Södra Cell AB is one of the largest pulp manufacturers in the world, producing 2.1 million metric tpy. The company operates three mills in Sweden and two in Norway. Its main product is long-fiber paper pulp, but it also manufactures textile pulp (dissolving pulp) and the new composite material DuraPulp. Södra Cell is also a supplier of green energy in the form of electricity, biofuel, and district heating.
