UPM Raflatac Introduces New Matt White Labeling

UPM Raflatac, Finland, has launched a new addition to its durables labeling range. The new top-coated polyester face PET Matt White TC 50 offers a more fit-for-purpose solution in many applications compared with the highly heat-resistant PET Matt White 60, the company notes.
UPM Raflatac explains that matt films provide excellent bar code readability due to the absence of reflection. The top-coat assures excellent thermal transfer print results and high scratch resistance with compatible TTR ribbons. ET Matt White TC 50 is available with both general purpose adhesives and special adhesives for applications where higher levels of adhesion and chemical and heat resistance are needed.
PET Matt White TC 50 and other products for durables labeling are available through UPM Raflatac's Small Roll Service. The option for single rolls in a choice of widths offers a reduced outlay for smaller label orders, or a sensibly small start to bigger business, the company points out.
