Huhtamaki Completes Josco Acquisition

Huhtamaki, Oyj, Espoo, Finland, this week completed the acquisition of Josco (Holdings), a manufacturer and distributor of paper and plastic disposable packaging products headquartered in Hong Kong and with manufacturing in China. Huhtamaki had just last week announced the acquisition, which significantly strengthens its position as a global provider of high quality foodservice packaging products.
Josco's net sales in 2011 were approximately EUR 70 million and it employs approximately 1,350 people in China and Hong Kong. The acquired business was consolidated into Huhtamaki's Foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania segment as of April 1.
