Wahlroos to Continue as UPM Chairman

At its recent organization meeting, the UPM-Kymmene Corp., Finland, board of directors reelected Björn Wahlroos chairman and Berndt Brunow deputy chairman. Wahlroos was also elected chairman of the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee, and Matti Alahuhta and Karl Grotenfelt were elected members of that committee.
In addition, the board elected from among its members Karl Grotenfelt chairman of the Audit Committee, and Wendy E. Lane and Kim Wahl members of the committee. Berndt Brunow was elected chairman of the Human Resources Committee and Ursula Ranin and Veli-Matti Reinikkala were elected members of the committee.
