U.S. Kraft Paper Shipments Decline

Total U.S. kraft paper shipments were 142,900 tons in March, a decrease of 5.0% compared with March 2011, as reported by AF&PA's (Washington, D.C., USA) March 2012 Kraft Paper Sector Report published this week. Total inventory was 80,500 tons this past month.
Additional key findings from the report include: ·
- Total unbleached kraft shipments decreased compared with March 2011, but increased compared with last month ·
- Total bleached kraft shipments increased compared with last March.
