Nippon Paper Adds New Lineup to Aurora S Coated Papers

Nippon Paper Industries Co., Japan, has added a new lineup to its Aurora S brand of lightweight coated paper that will go on sale as the Aurora S Series. All products in the Aurora S Series feature a basis weight of less than 50 gsm, making a product range that has strong, thin, and lightweight properties. The lineup features:

• Aurora S—a wide selection of basis weights from 45.0 gsm to 60.2gsm as the standard product
• Aurora S Dull—a balance of texture and paper thickness
• Aurora S Shade—high opacity despite low base weight (90% opacity at 45.0 gsm)
• Aurora S Bright—high whiteness (84% brightness on par with high-grade coated paper) and high printing/reproducibility.
