Schumacher to Install New PMP Headbox on Linerboard Machine

Schumacher Packaging Werk Grudziądz, a German, family-owned company with almost 65 years of tradition, has ordered a new Intelli-Jet V® hydraulic headbox from PMP Group, Italy, The delivery will include the Intelli-Jet V hydraulic headbox with Consistency Profiling System.
The 5-channel unit, approximately 3,100 mm on the pond side and with a design speed of 950 m/min, will be installed on Schumacher's PM 1, which is producing testliner. PMP Group will also be responsible for the unit's assembly and supervision over the machine's startup, which is scheduled for the second half of this year.
Currently, Schumacher Packaging owns five production sites in Germany (Ebersdorf, Sonneberg, Bielefeld, Forchheim, and Hauenstein) and three in Poland (Grudziądz, Bydgoszcz, and Wrocław).
