Containerboard Production in U.S. Increases Slightly

U.S. containerboard production in December 2012 grew 1.5% over November 2012 and 2.3% over the same month last year, AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) reports in its recently published December 2012 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report. However, the month-over-month average daily production decreased 1.8%
The U.S. containerboard operating rate for December 2012 lost 1.7 points from November 2012, down from 96.9% to 95.2%.
