PPSA Announces 70th Annual Safety and Health Conference Theme

The Pulp and Paper Safety Association (PPSA) will host its 70th Annual Safety and Health Conference - "The Human Element of Safety" June 9 - 12, 2013, in Williamsburg, Va., USA. The program for this event explores how human behavior can proactively help prevent, detect, and control events before they occur.
A total of 18 speakers in this year's program will address the human impact on safety. The conference will feature updates from OSHA, member company case studies, and PPSA's popular legal update. Among confirmed speakers are representatives from MeadWestVaco, Weyerhaeuser Co., Domtar, Safe Start, International Paper, REM Safety Consulting Inc, Michael Best & Friedrich Law Firm, Training Logic, Change Management Consulting Inc., and BushCo Inc.
PPSA is a non-profit, non-political, international organization, devoted to the continuous improvement of safety throughout all aspects of the paper industry. From forest products to paper mills, converting plants, and recycle collection centers, the association's membership is grouped by category to ensure a fair and appropriate basis for comparison.
