Thiele Kaolin Hires Two New Sales and Marketing People

Thiele Kaolin Co., Sandersville, Ga., USA, this week announced that Steve Humphries has joined the company as Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager. In this role, Humphries will support Thiele's domestic customers across 12 states in the U.S. from South Carolina to Pennsylvania, and as far west as Kentucky. Humphries succeeds David Hickman, who will be retiring at the end of 2013.
Humphries has 23 years of experience in the kaolin industry, most recently with Kemira Chemicals where he was sales manager over the White Pigments customer market. Humphries is an alumnus of Georgia College and State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Thiele adds that Tom Bennett has also joined the company as a sales and marketing associate. Bennett is a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In this position, Bennett will provide marketing support to Thiele's global sales team and will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop tailored products that will provide value to Thiele customers.
