Cascades Moka Tissue Wins Another Bronze Stevie Award

Cascades Tissue Group, Candiac, Que., Canada, reports that its Moka® 100% recycled, unbleached bathroom tissue has been honored with a bronze Stevie Award in the International Business Awards (IBA). Honored in the "Best New Product or Service of the Year—Business-to-Business Products" category, the commercial tissue, with its beige color, was praised for offering "uncompromised softness and hygiene qualities with a recipe that significantly reduces environmental impact."
Suzanne Blanchet, Cascades Tissue Group CEO, said that "our Cascades Moka bathroom tissue is a true example of what innovation and care for the environment can bring to a marketplace hungry for products that are kind to the environment. Practicing sustainability is in our DNA at Cascades and guides everything we do."
Cascades will receive its award on October 14 at a gala event in the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain. This is the second time in recent years that a Cascades product has won a Stevie Award. Cascades Antibacterial won a 2011 Stevie Award for Best New Product in the Health Category.
Cascades Tissue Group is the fourth largest producer of tissue paper in North America. Founded in 1964, the company produces, converts, and markets packaging and tissue products that are composed mainly of recycled fiber. The company employs more than 12,000 people who work in more than 100 units throughout North America and Europe.
