Sodra Increases NBSK Pulp Price in Europe

Södra, Växjö, Sweden, reports that it will raise NBSK (northern bleached softwood kraft) market prices in Europe to $920 per metric ton, effective tomorrow, November 1. The company attributes the increase to improved market conditions.

Södra employs some 3,800 people in areas ranging from forestry management and environmental conservation to accounting, sales, and product development. The Group’s four business areas produce sawn and planed timber goods, interior products, paper, pulp and biofuel.
