Newark’s Kam Named 2013 CFO of the Year

Newark Recycled Paperboard Solutions, Cranford, N.J., USA, this week announced that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Gregg Kam was named 2013 CFO of the Year. Awarded by NJBIZ, a New Jersey-based business publication, Kam earned the recognition in the category of private company with revenues of more than $50 million at a ceremony held this week. Newark is a leader in the collection of recovered fibers and the manufacturing and converting of 100% recycled paperboard in the U.S. and Canada."We congratulate Gregg on this well-deserved recognition," said Frank Papa, CEO and president of Newark Recycled Paperboard Solutions. "Gregg continually pushes beyond the boundaries of the traditional CFO role by resetting corporate priorities, streamlining operations, and improving cash management. He has truly created a financial center of excellence."
The CFO of the Year Award recognizes the achievements of New Jersey’s most accomplished and dedicated CFOs who contribute to the success of the state’s economic growth and stability. An independent panel of judges selected the winners from a large and highly competitive pool of individuals. Judging was based on a point system that rated the nominees in three areas: career achievements, impact of nominee’s contributions, and leadership in other areas of management.
Newark employs more than 1,500 and operates 34 facilities.
