U.S. Mills Boost Paperboard Production

Total U.S. boxboard production increased by 0.3% compared with October 2012, but decreased 0.2% from last month, AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) reports in its October 2013 Paperboard Statistics Report issued this past week. Unbleached kraft boxboard production decreased over the same month last year, and decreased compared with last month. Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production decreased compared with October 2012, and decreased compared with last month.
The production of Recycled Boxboard increased compared with October 2012, and increased when compared with last month.
