With the addition of Indas, Domtar will become one of the leading adult incontinence products manufacturers in Europe, providing the company with the "critical mass" on which to build a pan-European business.
Domtar produces a wide variety of fiber-based products including communication papers, specialty and packaging papers, and absorbent hygiene products. The company operates a network of wood fiber converting assets that produce paper grade, fluff, and specialty pulps. The majority of its pulp production is consumed internally to produce paper and consumer products. Domtar is the largest integrated marketer of uncoated freesheet paper in North America The company employs approximately 10,000 people.
