Caraustar to Hike Price of Uncoated Recycled Paperboard, Converted Paper Products

Caraustar Industries, Atlanta, Ga., USA, is increasing the prices of all mill uncoated recycled paperboard by $30 per ton and by 5% on all converted paper products, including tube, core, and protective packaging product lines. The uncoated recycled paperboard increase becomes effective with shipments beginning March 10, and the converted paper products increase becomes effective with shipments beginning April 7.
According to Caraustar, the price increases are due to continuing cost increases, including energy, freight, and raw material costs.
