Newark Raises Price on All Uncoated Grades of Recycled Paperboard

Newark Recycled Paperboard Solutions, Cranford, N.J., USA, this week announced a $30 per ton price increase on all uncoated grades of recycled paperboard, effective with shipments on or after March 10. According to Raymond Vargo Jr., VP of sales, "the increase is necessary to recover the escalating costs of raw materials and other manufacturing inputs."Newark is an integrated producer of 100% recycled paperboard and paperboard products in the U.S. and Canada. The company employs more than 1,500 people and operates 34 facilities.
