Wahlroos Re-elected Chairman of UPM BOD

Björn Wahlroos has been re-elected chairman, and Berndt Brunow deputy chairman of the board of directors of UPM-Kymmene Corp., Finland, at the company’s board organization meeting that took place earlier this week following the annual general meeting. In addition, the board elected the chairmen and members to the board’s committees from among its members.

Piia-Noora Kauppi was elected chairman of the Audit Committee, and Wendy E. Lane and Kim Wahl as other committee members. Berndt Brunow was elected chairman of the Remuneration Committee, and Matti Alahuhta and Veli-Matti Reinikkala as other committee members.

Wahlroos was elected chairman of the Nomination and Governance Committee, and Matti Alahuhta and Ari Puheloinen as other committee members.
