U.S. Boxboard Production Falls

U.S. April 2014 boxboard production decreased 3% compared with April 2013, and decreased 3.4% from last month (March 2014), according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) April 2014 U.S. Paperboard Report published this past week. Unbleached kraft boxboard production decreased over the same month last year but increased compared with last month.
Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production decreased compared with April 2013 and decreased compared with last month. The production of recycled boxboard decreased compared with April 2013 and decreased compared with last month.
