Caraustar Acquires Nashville Recycling Facility

Caraustar Industries Inc., Austell, Ga., USA, reports that it has acquired a recycling facility in Nashville, Tenn., from SP Recycling Southeast LLC. The acquisition of this recycling facility fits into the company strategy of expanding its geographical footprint to serve customer sustainability goals. Caraustar plans to operate the facility and integrate the business into its existing recycling business.
Caraustar is an integrated producer of 100% recycled paperboard and converted paperboard products. The company serves four principal recycled boxboard product end-use segments: tubes and cores; folding cartons; gypsum facing paper; and specialty paperboard products.
