U.S Boxboard Production Rises Slightly

Total U.S. boxboard production increased 1.2% compared with June 2013, and decreased 0.6% from last month, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C, USA) June 2014 U.S. Paperboard Report issued this past week. Unbleached kraft boxboard production increased during the same month last year, and increased compared with past month.
Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production was flat compared with June 2013 and to last month. The production of recycled boxboard increased compared with June 2013 and decreased when compared with past month.
