ArborGen Appoints Radak CFO

ArborGen, Ridgefield, S.C., USA, a developer and marketer of advanced genetic seedlings that improve the productivity of forest trees, has named John M. Radak CFO, effective immediately. Radak brings extensive experience in finance and business as well as a broad understanding of funding growth companies. As ArborGen’s new CFO, Radak will be responsible for the company’s finance, treasury, and investor relations functions.
Radak has more than 30 years of financial experience in the healthcare, life sciences, and emerging technology industries. Most recently he served as the CFO of Skinit Inc., a private equity based startup, where he was responsible for financial management, banking relationships, and risk management for the company. Prior to that, he was the VP of finance and chief accounting officer for Invitrogen Corp. before joining Quidel Corp. as CFO.
Radak is a CPA and has a B.A. degree in accounting and finance from California State University in Fullerton, and received his MBA degree from the University of Southern California.
