Coveris Names Marks VP of Global Operational Excellence

Coveris, Chicago, Ill., USA, a packaging and coatings solutions provider, has appointed Lee Marks VP, Global Operational Excellence. In this position, Marks will oversee operations at the company’s 66 manufacturing facilities around the world.
As the head of Coveris Operational Excellence, Marks will be responsible for facility planning, process improvement, and operational quality and efficiency. He will work closely with each Coveris business unit and the leadership team to apply lean manufacturing principals that will support organizational growth and drive customer satisfaction.
Marks brings 30 years of leadership and manufacturing experience to Coveris, most recently serving as global VP of operations and supply chain for Brady Corp., an international manufacturer of security and safety products. Prior to this position, he served as the regional VP of Operations–Americas with Brady Corp., and VP of operations with Pentair Inc. He also worked for Arthur Andersen & Co. as a strategic business consultant.
