OX Industries Orders Siemens AC Sectional Drives for Michigan Paperboard Mill

OX Industries, Hanover, Pa., USA, has selected Siemens USA, Washington, D.C., to supply its latest technology AC sectional drive system to be installed at OX’s Constantine, Michigan paperboard mill. The Siemens project is part of a $2 million capital improvement initiative that includes automation and press section upgrades.
The Siemens USA drive upgrade will allow for increased efficiency, flexibility, consistency, and cost savings. The project is expected to be completed in July and will allow OX to produce an additional 15,000 tons of URB (uncoated recycled board) at the Constantine facility.
OX Industries is a producer of uncoated recycled paperboard and custom converted mill products. OX provides products to many niche industries using 100% recycled paperboard products. It has production facilities in five locations—the Constantine mill; Halltown, W. Va.; Pekin, Ill; Hanover, Pa.; and Charleston, Ill.
