U.S. Containerboard Production Edges up in January

U.S. containerboard production was 1% higher than December 2014 and 3.9% higher than January of last year, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report released this past week. The month-over-month average daily production was 1% higher.
The U.S. containerboard operating rate for December increased to 96.2% from December’s 94.7%.
