Vinda Group Orders Three New Toscotec Tissue Machines

Vinda Group, China, is a producer and branded provider of household paper and personal care as well as general hygiene products across China. Due to increased demand, the company says it is "stepping up its expansion plan" and, in line with a strong partnership with Toscotec, Marlia, Italy, it has decided to place orders for three new tissue lines at its two mills in Sichuan and Shandong provinces. These machines are scheduled to come online in the fourth quarter of this year.
These new Toscotec lines are AHEAD-1.5M ES crescent former machines designed for the production of high quality tissue products with significant energy savings. The new design saves both usage of gas and steam. Overall speed is 1,600 m/min., with a trim width of 3,400 mm.
The scope of supply also includes Toscotec’s Drying Optimization for Energy Saving TT DOES, a tailor-made drying package delivering higher drying efficiency and output with key energy savings. The machine uses a short approach flow – TT SAF, contributing to significant savings.
Complete engineering, erection supervision, commissioning, and startup assistance, as well as training services are all part of this international supply package.
