Boxboard Output in U.S. a Mixed Bag

Total U.S. January boxboard production decreased 0.2% compared with January 2014, but increased 3.9% from December, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) January 2015 U.S. Paperboard Report published this past week. Unbleached kraft boxboard production decreased over the same month last year and decreased compared with last month.
Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production increased compared with January 2014 and increased compared with last month. Production of recycled boxboard increased compared with January 2014, and increased compared with last month.
