The Department of Forest Biomaterials at NC State University, Raleigh, N.C., USA, is seeking applicants for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track faculty position. The candidate will be expected to develop an externally funded research program in Forest Biomaterials to support graduate student education.
The search committee will give higher priority to the overall originality and promise of a candidate’s work rather than to the particular area of specialization. The candidate will also be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses with chemical engineering aspects in Forest Biomaterials. The candidate is also expected to contribute to departmental, college, and university activities.
