Emin Leydier to Raise Recycled Containerboard Prices

Midland Paper Packaging Co., Wheeling, Ill., USA, reports that Emin Leydier (France) is set to raise its recycled containerboard prices by EUR 40 per metric ton effective April 1. The hike will apply to all markets except the U.K. and Spain, Midland’s sources reported.
The producer attributed the move to "solid" market demand, reasonable stock levels at mills, and the necessity to recover this previous year’s margin loss.
