Mohawk Promotes Macy SVP, Names Smusz Sales/Marketing Manager

Mohawk Fine Papers, Cohoes, N.Y., USA, has promoted John P. Macy to SVP and CFO, responsible for directing Mohawk’s financial function including management of treasury activities, banking relations, cash management, insurance coverage, ERISA/pension, credit agreements, and internal and external financial reporting. Macy began with Mohawk as VP, Corporate Treasurer in 2012. Prior to that, he was audit partner at KPMG LLP for 22 years, and earlier in his career was a member of IBM’s technical accounting group.
The company also announced that Bob Smusz joined the company as sales and marketing manager, Retail Channel. With more than 30 years of sales and operations experience, Smusz has previously served as VP of operations with Xpedx/International Paper and regional VP with Federated Department Stores, where he began his career.
