The 2015 OpEx Maintenance and Reliability Workshop at PaperCon 2015 on April 21 in Atlanta, Ga., USA, features 11 speakers under the themes of Improving Production Reliability in the first half and Reliability Strategies, Management, and Technologies in the afternoon session.
Tor Idhammar of IDCON kicks off the morning half of OpEx with an in-depth look at Maintenance Excellence—What It Is and How It Can Be Achieved. John Crowe, ex-CEO of Buckeye Technologies, then explores How to Effectively Present the Value of a Reliability Focus to Upper Management—"Show Me the Money."
Pat Akins of Weyerhaeuser examines how a reliability team finds millions of dollars in the pulp mill. He reviews the activities to take a planned and scheduled facility through PM/PdM optimization and beyond into the precision state. Following Akins, Tomas Jutbo of Voith takes a close-up look at Maintenance Excellence—Prerequisite for Operational Excellence in the Age of Big Data, Michel Cote of Prosygma Canada, then examines Criticality Analyses and Spare Parts Management, and completing the first half of 2015 OpEx, Jay Stallings of Andritz presents an inside Look at a preferred Partner Program.
