AR Packaging Invests EUR 3 Million in Newly Acquired Krakow, Graz Plants

Following the newly completed acquisition of the European tobacco, chocolate confectionery and general packaging operations from MeadWestvaco Corp. (Richmond, Va., USA), AR Packaging, Germany, this past week announced its plan to expand the plant in Krakow, Poland, and invest in upgrading of machinery equipment at the plant in Graz, Austria.
The investment totals approximately EUR 3 million for the two plants and will provide a further strengthened platform for competitive services to AR Packaging’s customers and long-term sustainable business performance, the company said.
