Boxboard Output by U.S. Producers a Mixed Bag in April

Total boxboard output last month (April 2015) by U.S. producers increased 0.3% compared with April 2014, but decreased 0.9% from last month, as reported by AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) in its April 2015 U.S. Paperboard Report issued this past week. Unbleached kraft boxboard production increased over the same month last year and increased compared with last month.
Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production increased compared with April 2014 and increased compared with last month. The production of recycled boxboard decreased compared with April 2014 and decreased compared with last month.
