In Memoriam: Laurence L. Coulson

The TAPPI community is saddened to learn that Laurence Larsen Coulson, age 75, of Farragut, Tenn., USA passed away Sunday, May 17. Laurence was born in East Pearson Township in Ontario, Canada, on January 4, 1940 to parents Curtis and Borgild (Olsen) Coulson, who precede him in death. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family. From 1964 to 1975 he was a contract coordinator for Huyck Drying Products and from 1975-1980 he was an applications engineer for Huyck, specializing in the dryer section. Coulson would later work as a process sales manager for Valmet. He was a TAPPI member since 1980.
Laurence is survived by his wife of 53 years, Yvonne; children, Douglas (Tina), Cynthia (Randy) and Michelle; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends here and in Canada. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
