Cascades to Move Financial Workers from Eau Claire Mill

A report this past week by the Leader Telegram, Eau Claire, Wis., USA, said that officials with Cascades, Marietta, Ga., USA, which operates a paper mill in Eau Claire, have worked for the past several months to revise the company’s administrative and business processes, said Christine Beaulieu, Cascades director of communications.
"I do not have at this time the exact number of functions that will be transferred to Kingsey Falls," Beaulieu said when asked how many jobs would be transferred. "They will be high-volume transactional activities, mostly financial functions at this stage."
Cascades officials are making the move, Beaulieu said, to become more competitive as the paper mill market experiences changing conditions.
