Menasha, Neenah, Wis., USA, is expanding its PrePrint facility in Neenah to accommodate the addition of a new flexographic printing press. The expansion and new equipment are in response to increasing customer demands, Menasha noted.
Menasha previously announced the purchase of a second Bobst Central Impression Flexographic 90SIX Printing Press to its network, which will close to double the company’s capacity for preprinted linerboard orders. It is expected to be in production by March 2016.
"After experiencing exponential demand for Menasha’s flexographic printing services, we chose to expand the PrePrint Facility in Neenah to maximize efficiencies and optimize our customers’ supply chains," said Roger Ver Voort, Menasha PrePrint GM. "We are excited to be able to provide faster turnaround time for our current customers, while increasing capacity for future growth."
The PrePrint facility expansion will add 45,500 sq. ft. to the initial 94,000-sq ft. facility. Menasha is the largest independent provider of preprint in North America.
