U.S. Kraft Paper Shipments Rise

U.S. kraft paper shipments this past month (June 2015) totaled 149,300 short tons, which is 5.8% higher than in June 2014, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) June 2015 Kraft Paper Report. Bleached kraft paper shipments increased from 8,400 short tons in May 2015 to 10.9 short tons in June, while unbleached kraft paper shipments increased from 131,500 short tons to 138,400 short tons in the same period.
Overall, shipments for the first half of 2015 were essentially flat compared with the same period in 2014. Total month-end inventories decreased to 73,400 short tons.
