Stora Enso Installs Guangxi Machinery, Finishes Varkaus PM Conversion

According to a recent Stora Enso, Helsinki, Finland, company release, a brief update has been given on two current projects. According to the report, the company is progressing with plans for a new board machine at the Guangxi consumer board mill in China. The company is also finishing conversion of the Varkaus mill’s fine paper machine in Finland.
The installation of the main machinery in China has already begun; the board machine is expected to be operational in mid-2016.
The kraftliner line in Finland is expected to start at the end of 2015.
