Brazil’s August BEK Exports Rise

Brazil’s bleached eucalyptus pulp (BEK) exports were up 3.2% y/y in August. The country’s BEK exports were +8.6%, or up 600,000 metric tons through the first eight months of 2015, according to data maintained Brazil’s SECEX - Foreign Trade Secretariat.
