Stora Enso Performa Brilliance Designed for Luxury Packaging

 

Stora Enso (Finland) reports that its new Performa Brilliance product is ideal for packaging cosmetics, fragrances, perfumes, beauty and hair care products, and luxury products such as jewelry, watches, champagne, and fine spirits.

 

 

"The creation of Performa Brilliance was driven by the demands of the market, which called for a folding boxboard with improved visuals, printability, and runnability. Performa Brilliance is simply the best folding boxboard grade for packaging cosmetics, perfumes, make-up, and many other premium products. It is a very important complement to our luxury board offering, together with our flagship product Ensocoat," said Jonas Pettersson, VP of product management and marketing at Stora Enso Consumer Board. 

Performa Brilliance has the highest whiteness on both the top and reverse side among all FBB products in the market and also very high brightness and bulk. Performa Brilliance is additionally available with linen embossing for a distinctive look and feel. "In particular, the smoothness and visual appearance of Performa Brilliance distinguish it from other GC1 products. This is the feedback we have received from many of our customers that have been testing the board, so we have good reason to celebrate with our customers at the trade shows," says Pettersson.

Besides luxury packaging, Performa Brilliance is, of course, fit for many other packaging end uses and graphical applications, such as book covers, greeting cards, folders, tickets, and tags.
