Duo-Technik Expands into North American Marketplace

Duo-Technik, Wartenberg, Germany, is expanding into North America with its innovative, complete line of field-proven peripheral control equipment for corrugated and digital printing presses. During the past 26 years, the company has successfully sold and serviced equipment in North America for many different types of printing presses, including the full line of BOBST corrugated printing equipment.

The North American division is known as Duo-Technik Americas. Heading up the new division’s sales efforts, Edward R. Turpin has been appointed sales and marketing director. Turpin, who resides in North America, is well-known in the industry as an "ink management guru." He has more than 30 years of sales and service experience with several major companies in the coating industry. His knowledge, energy, and perseverance, the company notes, are attributes that will aid in generating the success that is highly anticipated for the North American division. 

 

Turpin will be responsible for sales and service of the complete line of Duo-Technik products, relying on a sales team of independent agents and a partnership with Contract Assembly Services Inc. of Green Bay, Wis., for its service expertise. 

Inventory, warehousing and manufacturing capabilities are planned for the new division in the very near future.
