PEERS 2015 PaperChase 5K Fun Run Challenged the Intellect
Print this Article | Send to Colleague
This 32nd annual 5K run/1.5 mile walk challenged both runners and walkers alike as they had to predict their finishing times beforehand. A small but enthusiastic group of runners and one walker toed the line and traversed over a well-marked but challenging course. One runner, Matt Tunnicliffe, impressed everyone by predicting his time within less than one second! Overall, the "Prediction" Fun Run was a great event and everyone enjoyed meeting their fellow participants.
We want to thank our PaperChase 5K Fun Run Sponsors: Andrtiz, FITNIR, International Paper, Jansen, NORAM, Capstone, Domtar, and Clyde-Bergemann. A special thanks goes out to Yates for sponsoring the race as well as all prizes and t-shirts. We also would like to thank Orpheus Brewery for providing a great pre-race and post-race gathering place for our participants.
Next year, plan on being part of the PEERS PaperChase 5k Fun Run. It is a great way to support the Engineering Scholarship Fund, challenge yourself, and explore the conference city!
