KRPA PAPER Orders GapCon Rebuild of PM 6 Press Section

The Czech specialty papers producer KRPA PAPER a. s., has selected GapCon S.r.l. to provide an extensive rebuild of its PM 6 press section. The scope of supply includes a modification of the press section, including an installation of GapCon EconPRESSTM shoe press and a consequent modification of the first dryer group. The target of the modernization is higher ex-press dryness and consequent production rates increase and energy savings.
KRPA PAPER operates one paper machine, coating line, printing, and converting division. It is a member of KRPA Holding, a group of paper producing and converting companies, and is celebrating its 180th anniversary of an uninterrupted papermaking and converting tradition. KRPA PAPER produces food packaging and printing and writing papers. Its production range includes greaseproof papers (KH PACK), carbonless copy papers (KH COPY), and other specialty papers. The company focuses on tailor-made production of direct food packaging papers and functional papers for multilayer wrapping materials. Papers are produced under utmost care of the environment and food safety, and are exported worldwide, the company notes.
