PMT Italia to Upgrade PM5 at Papeterie de Clairefontaine in France

Papeterie de Clairefontaine, France, selected PMT Italia (Italy) as the supplier of a press section rebuild of its PM 5, located at Etival - Clairefontaine, France. The 3.8-meter-wide machine produces high quality fine papers.
The project is expected to improve production capacity and heavy grammages production as well, by installing a new smarnip® shoe press that will give more flexibility to the machine in producing low to high basis weights.
With the startup of this project, planned for the Spring of 2016, PMT will have two smarnip shoe presses in the PM#5 and one smarnip shoe press in PM 6.
This project follows other successful PMT references on those grades with similar rebuilds.
PMT is a global paper machinery manufacturer that provides producers of different paper grades with advanced equipment from headbox through winder, including integrated projects with basis or detail engineering of associated auxiliary plants.
