Appvion Expands Triumph High-Speed Inkjet Paper Line

Appvion, Inc., Appleton, Wis., USA, has announced a significant addition to the high-speed inkjet offering in its specialty papers line. The new Appvion Triumph™ Treated Ultra P High-Speed Inkjet Paper is engineered to deliver superior results and improved productivity with roll-fed high-speed inkjet presses using pigment aqueous inks.
The product name is derived from its ultra-high performance and outstanding color outcome with pigment inks. Commercial, publishing, and in-plant printers, as well as data centers and mail houses, will benefit from the improved performance. Triumph Treated Ultra P High-Speed Inkjet Paper is an ideal choice for high-color direct mail, commercial, and transpromotional applications, Appvion notes.
"Our new Triumph Treated Ultra P High-Speed Inkjet Paper needs no on-press pretreatment or bonding agents, making it lower cost to print and easier to use," said Ethan Haas, Appvion's VP and GM of carbonless and specialty papers. Haas added that the inkjet market space is moving towards pigment inks for higher-color applications. Appvion's Triumph Treated offerings meet the current and future needs of the rapidly growing inkjet segment. The entire family yields vibrant color reproduction over a wide gamut with uniform print density, sharp lines, and even solids. The papers offer both high brightness and high opacity for excellent image contrast and low show-through. They are quick drying for outstanding smear resistance. Triumph Treated papers are now available in white and cream in 24 lb. bond (60 lb. text), and in white in 20 lb., 28 lb., 32 lb., and 38 lb. bond (7 pt.).
A roll-stocking program is available for Triumph High-Speed Inkjet Papers for merchants and printers. Appvion also offers low minimum order quantities and custom roll widths and requested sheet sizes. Appvion will work with customers to develop high-speed inkjet products that have custom colors and basis weights.
