Idempapers SA Raises Price of Carbonless Papers

Idempapers SA, Virginal-Samme, Belgium, producer of the "Idem" brand, has announced a price increase for carbonless products. The company notes that for more than a year now, raw material costs (principally pulp and chemicals) have increased significantly, largely due to the impact of foreign exchange fluctuations, and despite the price increases already implemented during the past 12 months, this escalation in costs has only been partially recovered.
The company’s price increase on carbonless products will be up to 7% on reels and 5% on sheets, effective for all deliveries beginning April 4, 2016. The sales team will shortly be contacting all customers to discuss with them the details of this increase.
Idempapers produces and markets paper and paper products. It offers two product lines: carbonless papers (which self-copy), and specialty papers (one-sided paper used for labels and posters for advertising).
