U.S. Boxboard Output Mixed in February

Total U.S. boxboard production in February 2016 increased 3.3% compared with February 2015 and decreased 6.1% from last month (January 2016), according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C. USA) February 2016 U.S. Paperboard Report released this past week. Unbleached kraft boxboard production increased over the same month as last year but decreased compared with last month.
Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production decreased compared with February 2015 and decreased compared with last month. The production of recycled boxboard increased compared with February 2015, but decreased compared with last month.
