Appvion Launches Coated High-Speed Inkjet Paper

Appvion Inc., Appleton, Wis., USA, has added Appvion Triumph™ Coated Ultra Brite-Matte High-Speed Inkjet Paper to the high-speed inkjet offerings of its specialty papers line. The new Triumph paper delivers superior quality and productivity for the newest generation of sheet-fed inkjet presses that use pigment aqueous inks. 

The paper’s consistent quality, high brightness (96), and opacity (98) ensure dramatic color, excellent image contrast, and less show-through, Appvion noted. Plus, Triumph’s quick-dry surface is exceptionally smear resistant. "Commercial, publishing, and in-plant printers will find Triumph Coated Ultra Brite High-Speed Inkjet Paper an ideal choice for high-color commercial, direct mail, book, and transpromotional applications," the company pointed out. 

 

Appvion Triumph Coated Ultra Brite-Matte Inkjet Paper is available in 7 pt. (160 GSM, 278 PPI) matte finish sheets. The paper’s pure-white color offers optimal smoothness and formation that delivers superb color outcomes, uniform print density, sharp lines, and even solids, as well as exceptional runnability and hassle-free performance in post-printing equipment. This new Triumph product, Appvion said, is certified on the sheet-fed Canon Océ VarioPrint i300 printer, so it’s user-ready for current and new installations.

The new Triumph paper is available to merchants and printers through Appvion’s nationwide network of strategically located distribution centers. It is acid free, elemental chlorine free (ECF), and manufactured under ISO 14001:2004-certified environmental management systems. An FSC certified (FSC-C003368) version is available.
