Anthony Pratt Named N.A. Packaging CEO of the Year

Pratt Industries (Australia) chairman and founder Anthony Pratt has been named "North American Packaging CEO of the Year" by RISI, Boston, Mass., USA. He will be presented with the award at RISI’s International Containerboard Conference (ICC), November 3-4 in Chicago, Ill., USA.

 

"Our packaging economists and editors selected him among industry leaders for the award for his ‘vision and leadership’ in growing Pratt Industries into one of the largest, lowest cost, and most innovative companies in the North American industry over the past two decades from a virtual startup in this region of the world," said RISI editor Will Mies. "This has been achieved by a highly focused strategy emphasizing sustainability in a market already dominated by some of the world’s largest and most efficient virgin containerboard producers. It has been an amazing achievement."
